Back Problem

Anna was around at just the right time. I had just intuned (qualified) to Reiki 2 and happened to meet her in the height of my enthusiasm to try things out. Anna who is in her early 20's had suffered severe back pains for long periods of time and had done so since early childhood. She pinpointed the cause of the problem being a friend who jumped on her back when she wasn't expecting it.

Anna was suffering at the time we met and was about to take a dose of painkillers. I asked if she would like to try Reiki first and gladly agreed to give it a go. I worked on channeling through Reiki energy around her pelvis and spine. As I did so she was quite comfortable for a while, but then, with an increasing agitation she said she could sit no longer and needed to move about. I quickly finished off - When I took my hands away Anna exclaimed - You have as you removed your hands just taken the pain away! The rest of the day she was very cautious not wanting the pain to return - that was over a year ago - the pain has not returned.

Cluster Headaches

Now for anyone that has had these headaches will appreciate how incredibly painful and deliberating they are.

I was at the time at Ashley's house along with several other friends, unlike the rest of us he was not drinking for smoking as he found it aggravated his problem. Later that evening the head pain came on. He was very agitated and left us to be in a darkened room pacing back and forth, dealing with the pain as best as he could.

After a period of time I asked if I could give him some help with Reiki. Reluctantly he agreed - reluctantly because over the past week he had tried every sort of painkiller with no success. I encouraged him to sit and I put my hands directly to his head. Within seconds his breathing slowed and he started to calm. The stabbing pain moved from his eyes around to different parts of his head then eased to the point he felt able to join everyone again.

I gave Ashly treatments once a week for 4 -5 weeks - a mix of Reiki and Reflexology . That was in June. It is now November and has not had a recurrence.

9 year old - Multiple fracture

Jack fell off his bike and suffered a multiple fracture to his arm. He had a metal plate inserted to assist the bones healing and his arm was plastered. I know Jacks mum, but he only knew me from seeing me (he calls me colorful Jenni) on the street talking to his mum. I suggested to his mum that Jack come to me for Reiki treatment when the hospital confirmed the bone was aligned correctly. However, I wanted it to be his decision to come and see me so explained to his mum how the treatment would take place and what it could do for him. The message was relayed to Jack and he agreed it might be a good idea to give it a go.

Jack was great, he sat with me for a short period of time while I held my hands to his plastered arm sending through Reiki healing energy (Reiki works quickly with children - when he got up to stroke the our rabbit his body was telling him he had had enough, so I knew it was time to stop). Jack reported to his mum that his arm had a "funny feeling" for about an hour afterward. He also had an extra benefit - the itching stopped.

I saw Jack once again before his hospital check up. His plaster was removed and the nursing staff were amazed at how quickly it had all healed and discharged him. Jack has yet to have the metal plate removed, but he has asked his mum if he can come to me again because he knew how he can benefit.

Jack has since benefited from distance healing to sooth his anxious mind following concerns of the further operation to have the plate removed.

Spiritual Connection

Kevin came to try Reiki out of interest. I gave him a full Reiki treatment in exchange for some work he had done for me.

He was completely relaxed and reported to have enjoyed it immensely. While being treated he had several visions. The most important one for him was being taken back to a time and place where he did a very special meditation. Unfortunately he had not done this meditation for years and now he was reminded it was necessary for him to start doing this meditation again.

8 year old - Eczema

When Elly came to me she spots on her arms, stomach and back. She had bandages on both arms to stop her scratching very red angry spots. Now Elly didn't think it was fair that she had eczema and her older sister didn't and it upset her greatly especially when the spots started to move up to her face.

Elly and I worked together - I gave her a visualization task and I worked on her eczema once a week for 5 weeks. Little by little the treatment worked. Jan 2009. Unfortunatley it is now Oct 2009 and her eczema has returned and so we have begun treatment again. Elly is a young girl who takes the world on her shoulders and it is such issues that has bought the eczema back. We are now not only working on the Eczema but seeing if we can remove some of the negative mind problems that have bought it back. It is now Nov 2009 and I have been advised the eczema has once again cleared completely. I have since discovered Elly has always since birth slept in the same bedroom in the same spot - just incase her bed lies over a bad layline I have also suggested her bedroom be changed around so she sleeps in a different spot.

My work involves lots of sharp edges, spiky things, big hammers and use of extreme heat. It is an occupation that by it's very nature involves lots of small but often painful injuries particularly cuts, puncture wounds, bruises and burns. I was initially very skeptical about the benefits of Reiki, but thought 'well nothing ventured nothing gained'. I have been amazed at how quickly these injuries clear themselves up, to the point where if I get injured now I am straight off to get some Reiki. The nurses at the local hospital have also expressed their surprise at this speed of healing.
